Clerico Family
These are the permanent residents of the Clerico family.
Sid Clerico
Sid, as you might have read on my About Me page, adopted us. He is a beautiful russian blue and LOVES to tell us what he thinks. He is definantly the king of the house and we are his staff. I couldn’t ask for a better cat with all the animals that I have running around. He is so calm and cool with everyone.
Zoe Clerico
Little Zoems came from our local pet shelter. She is a sweet dachshund-jack russell mix. She is eager to please and loves food. She is jealous of how tall the other dogs are because they are easier to reach but she has found adorable ways to cope. She is smart and ready to learn new tricks.
Hermes, Zues, Strat, Art, and Big Momma
When I was a younger, I had a red eared slider for a small amount of time. She wasn’t happy and I could see that. My mother found a better home for him and spent a whole night comforting meĀ because I was very upset. The very next day, I was walking outside and I saw a rock on my patio. Then it moved. I screamed for my mom and we started carring for him right away. After Hermes, it is as if there is a sign on our house saying, “Turtles welcome.” We now have five.
Peter
I have always wanted a greyhound. I had seen them around the neighborhood and experienced their beauty and grace. One day, while coming home from work, I saw that the GPA representative was outside with her dogs. I talked to Katy and her husband for a while and she explained the process to me and I got started right away. After being approved, I went to LA to pick out a dog. I had my heart set on a female, but Joyce (in charge of So. Cal. GPA) was pushing a male dog named Peter. After I saw two females, she brought Peter out. I was immediately drawn to him and after playing with him in the coral, I knew he was the one. He is my bubba.
Missy
Hey, this one has nothing to do with me. I am very dedicated to fostering, so as hard as is it is to let them go, I always do. My father and my brother insisted on keeping Missy. She is a crazy black kitty who runs around the house all day fighting life and death battles with socks, foil balls, and the thin air. Even though we failed as a foster home, I really think that it was meant to be. We all love our new kitty.
