Success Stories
Here are my foster cats and dogs that have been sucessfully put into forever homes:
Oscar:
Oscar was one of my first foster kittens. He was very active but always settled down with me when it was bed time. The Cat People placed him in a great home where he had other kitties to play with all day long.
Charlie:
Charlie was Oscar’s foster brother. They played all day together and would sleep with me at night. Charlie was full of personaity and I could tell he was going to be a real love kitty when he grew up. Charlie didn’t get placed with Oscar but he did end up in a home with other kitties.
Rocky:
Rocky is the biggest, goofiest grey I know. He came to our house young and foolish; he had only raced three times before the track let him go (not much of a runner). He was very loveable, but he had a taste for furnisher, to say the least. Even though it was very hard to let go, we had to place him at our GPA representatives house down the street. Within a week or so, they decided to adopt Rocky. Rocky really got the best home a greyhound could ask for. Plus, we get to see him all the time!
Sigfreed, Roy, and Sydney:
These three adorable kittens were dropped off at PETCO during adoptions in a box. I volunteered to take them home, and they adjusted right away. They loved to play with one of my older fosters, Missy (who we later adopted) always acting tougher then her. Sigfreed and Roy, the siamese kittens, went to a lady who hadn’t had a cat in a while due to the heart break she experienced when one died. They got a great home! Sydney went to a home of a new couple a week later, and I am sure she is living a great life.
Bella, Bear, Bozco, Buster, and Lola:
The four tabbies came to me about three and a half weeks old. I had to weign them off milk which was fun and demanding. I named the four with all B names because they were so close with each other. A coupe weeks later, a lady found a kitten in the parking lot and gave her to the cat people. This wide-eyed, crazy, black kitten came to me while I still had the tabbies. After a few days both the litter and Lola tested negative for any illness so Lola got to join the litter. She fit right in and loved her new siblings. All five kittens were adopted on one Saturday. (A record for me.)
Monty:
Monty wasn’t in the best shape when he came to our home. After a couple of weeks of love and care, he started coming out of his shell. He found that toys were exciting, playing with people was fun, and how nice dinner was when he got it to himself. He is now in a loving home.
